When to say no to opporunity

As a businessperson it is important you be on the lookout for opportunity. But what's more important is CHOOSING opportunities to say yes to, and those you say no to.
The most successful business owners are very good at saying no to opportunity. The ones who are constantly frustrated say "yes" to every opportunity and spend their time chasing rabbits instead of focusing in on what truly contributes to their long term wealth.

So how to you choose what to say yes to? The answer is simple:
you are very, very clear on what your "final outcome" is. In other words, you need to know the conditions for victory. These vary from person to person based on individual desires, but it is important you define them for yourself.
Once you've defined them, you need to ask yourself this question:
"does this action I'm taking get me closer to or further away from my final outcome?" If the answer is "closer to" than you should pursue that opportunity with the goal of completing it (NOT dabbling in it). If the answer is "farther away" then you should pass on the opportunity, no matter how great the temptation.
Saying "no" to opportunity is the best way to say "yes" to a fortune.
