How good do you feel?
A few weeks ago I met a good friend of mine for coffee here in Austin. She looked a little out of it, almost "spacey." I asked her what was wrong, and she said her shoulder was really bothering her. Now, she'd had a shoulder injury for eight years now (from playing hockey, of all things), and thought she could just "live with it."
Some days it was better for her, some days it was worse. The day I met her, it was the worst I'd seen it. She had a huge knot in it (as well as in her neck). I massaged it the best I could, and she felt better. But I knew it was a matter of time before it really started bothering her again, so I decided to take action to get it fixed. Why?
Because it was not only causing her pain, it was affecting her financially. She owns a marketing research company here in Austin, and her shoulder was bothering her so much it was difficult for her to focus on business. Some days she said like she felt she couldn't even make decisions, or get the writing done she needed to.
So, I took her to one of the best physical therapists here in Austin, and after three visits it's like she's come back to the living. She'd lived with the pain so long she'd forgotten what it was like to live without it. Her productivity has increased DRAMATICALLY, and she'll wind up making a ton of money this year.
She's also started working out again, which will help her even more. She says she feels, "light, almost like I'm floating" because of the absence of pain.
I've had the same thing happen to me several times. I've had knee and shoulder problems that bothered me so much I couldn't get stuff done... but found the correct people to get my injuries corrected.
If you read Think and Grow Rich you'll find that health is #2 on Napoleon Hill's list of ways to be wealthy. If you don't have your health, becoming wealthy is extremely difficult. Most people don't see the link, but it's there. So, if you're having health issues (or you just don't lead a healthy lifestyle), one of the most financially rewarding things you can do is get those taken care of. It may not seem that way at first, but when you get rid of pain that's been bothering you for years, it's amazing how good you really feel... as well as how much money you'll make.
Let's get to it...
