Why MR. X is dumb
For the past nine years I have read, studied, tested, and profited from financial success products, specifically in information marketing. I know how to write a sales letter that gets people to give me money. I know how to create information products to build a great relationship with my customers and set up the sale of future products.
I know how to put people on a teleseminar and then get them to give me more money. I know how to speak from the front of the room and drive people to the back to get them to buy.
And I'm still dumb. Why? Because no matter how much you know, no
matter how much you've learned, you haven't even started to scratch the scratch of the surface of all the success knowledge there is out there.
Case in point: I've recently been listening to Ron LeGrand's "profit in real estate" materials. Why am I interested in real estate? Because just about every multimillionaire in my circle of influence has two things in common: they all use direct mail, and they all use real estate. Since I'd like to become a multi-millionaire I've started learning how to do real estate.
Now, I've known Ron for about five years now, and learned a lot about information marketing from him. But as I'm listening to his real estate audio course, I'm struck by how much there is to know about real estate, and how little I know. It's pretty exciting because I know I'll make a lot more money using that information, in a different field of competency. But that's the exciting thing--I know it's a process that can be mastered, just like information marketing. And if it's a process, anyone can master it.
So, don't worry if you feel a bit dumb about starting your business... even Mr. X feels dumb sometimes--it usually means I'm about to make a lot of money.
Let's get to it...
