Take a break... you'll make more money
Well, the high point of the holidays has finally arrived, and it's an opportunity for you to... take a break! In fact, taking a break, and forgetting completely about business may be one of the most profitable things you do all year.
Why?
Because it gives your mind a chance to recover from the day in and day out stress of worrying about your business. And when you allow your mind to recover, that's when you often come up with your best ideas.
Let me give you an analogy. I'm a pretty in-shape guy, I work out diligently and I watch what I eat. When people talk to me they say, "Wow, you must lift weights two hours a day, every day!"
They're floored when I say, "No, I lift weights three times a week, with each workout lasting 25 to 40 minutes." See, they think the "growth" happens during the workout, but they're wrong--the growth happens during the rest/recovery time between workouts. If you work out too much ("overtraining") you will actually erode your muscles, and be weak and skinny (or fat).
The exact same thing happens with your mind. If you spend all day, every day worrying about your business, you'll "erode" your mental muscle, and you won't grow. But if you take a break, and let your brain recover, then it will generate new ideas when you least expect it.
So, now's a great opportunity to take a break, engage in rest and recovery, and let your brain (and your pocketbook) grow!
Let's get to it...
