Why I buy soft toilet paper

I was in the grocery store yesterday when I was faced with a
dilemma: be cheap and buy "functional" or spend a little more and buy "comfort and bliss."
I took the comfort and bliss and gladly paid for it. Now, usually I buy the cheapest stuff when it comes to things that don't matter to me (like laundry detergent), but when it comes to things that do matter (and hey, toilet paper is one of them for me) I always go "first class."
Why? Because when you "go first class" it makes you feel "first class"... it enhances your self image and you start acting like a "first class person." You expect good things to happen, you expect others to treat you well, and you expect to be financially successful.
And because you expect it, it happens.
Now, this isn't something I pulled out of thin air...
I learned it from a book called "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz (which you can get on Amazon for the huge sum of
$10.40)
"The Magic of Thinking Big" really is one of the self development classics, and it's a must read for anyone who wants to be successful in any area. One thing I really got from this book was how important it was to treat yourself with a sense of deservingness, to truly believe you are "first class," that you do indeed deserve the finer things in life
Now, don't mistake "going first class" for going out and blowing money you don't yet have on things you can't yet afford. That's stupidity, and stupidity and "first class" have nothing to do with each other. What it does mean is, you should strive to develop your sense of deservingness, and as that grows, your reality will catch up to your beliefs.
Why? Because when you believe you deserve success, your mind becomes oriented to doing the things that make you successful. "Deservingness" leads to "mental directionalization"--(putting your mind to work so you'll start doing the things that lead to success).
I have a very strong, very developed sense of deservingness--just ask any of my friends, peers, or employees. I believe I deserve to be rich. I believe I deserve to have only wonderful, beautiful women in my life. And I believe I deserve to hang around with only people who are bright, positive, uplifting, and competent doers.
As a result my reality matches up with my beliefs.
Now, don't mistake "deservingness" with "entitlement." You deserve something because you did something great for someone else. You're not entitled to anything because you just showed up in life. The difference between the two has to do with creation of value... when you create value you deserve compensation IF your sense of deservingness is developed.
If not, you can create value and wind up with nothing. There are tons of people out there who do create value for others, but never receive any compensation ("educated failures.") They're not compensated because they don't believe they should be... the have weak, damaged self images. They don't go "first class" because they don't believe they're "first class."
This is where all success starts... with a strong sense of deservingness. So... if you're not as successful as you'd like to be right now, go to work on developing your sense of deservingness--treat yourself to some soft toilet paper.
Your butt will thank you, and someday so will your wallet. Who knew there could be such wisdom in toilet paper?
Let's get to it...
