Why the rich get richer

There's an old saying that goes, "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer." This statement is absolutely 100% true--but not for the reason you might think.
Usually when some overeducated college professor says this, he or she is really saying, "the rich get richer because they steal from the poor, they manipulate and trick them. It's not your fault you're poor, it's the rich's fault."
Which is why most college professors are poor.
The reason most rich people are rich (and when I say rich, I mean "self made" not inherited, married, or won in the lottery) is because they spend their time doing the things that make them rich.
What do the poor spend their time doing? The things that make them poor. Both rich and poor have the same amount of time in the day--24 hours. But it's how you use that time that counts.

Check out the following email I received, and ask yourself why you think this guy is unsuccessful:
Dear Michael
I have just seen you Add and i liked it.. but accually am sick of internet products.. i have spend money on products to make money and i was not satisfied... the thing is that what they r talking about is something related to self development which neads training and it takes time more than 6 months...
but they r marketing it in their website as an easy to learn subject!
and in your address u r telling the same thing that it is easy to learn!
so if i get the product today can it simply start making money for me tomorrow?
accually i want to get ur product but am affraid to find similar subject that i have read in other products.. i just want to make sure that i can really get results from the 2nd day! or i will ask u for refund
what do u say?
best regards

Gee, do you have to read much of what this guy has written to see why he's unsuccessful? He's not willing to pay the price, and not willing to use the information he's already gotten. Much easier to keep dreaming about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow than it is to a bit of "self development" work.
He thinks he's somehow "entitled" to something. That something should be "given to him." Look, if you want to make money, you have to learn how to do that. And for some of you, it's going to take some time to learn how to do that. But once you learn it, it's a skill you have for life.
That's the way to world works... to get value, you have to give value, plain and simple. There's no way I'm going to sell this guy anything. There's a 100% chance he'll whine for a refund and a 100% chance he'll never be successful. He's not willing to spend the time to create value for others. So, I'm booting his butt off my list... I don't need or want to do business with guys like that.
As some of you know, I do quite a bit of direct marketing consulting, and work with a company that sells information products to people who want to get into business--"opportunity seekers."
While there are some great people who really do want to be successful, this can, at times be a very disappointing market to deal with.
Why?
Because many "opportunity seekers" want a "magic money chant" to get rich quick with, to have a million dollars show up in their mailbox tomorrow without doing any work. Now, I'm all for getting rich quick, but it takes a tremendous amount of focused energy and effort to do so. And a lot of "opp seekers" don't want to do that. Most of these people have spent over 30 years trying to "get rich quick" when they could have done so in two years, simply by putting their energy and effort into building a business that delivers value to people.
Here's what most people don't get: how quickly time passes. Read the above email again. Six months is not a long time at all to learn how to be successful for life. Six months is a drop in the bucket of time. How fast did the last six months pass? To me it was a blur, as will the next six months be. If you spend your time trying to shortcut the system, time will get behind you so fast, you'll be ten years older, twenty pounds heavier, and no farther ahead than you are now... and you'll wonder how it passed so quickly. Spend your time as the rich do, and you'll reap rewards beyond your imagination... spend it as the poor do and you'll forever be wondering why you never get the results you want.
People who are poor in money don't give or
contribute much value. People who are rich in money give quite a bit. And people who are MASSIVELY successful with money find a way to deliver value on a mass scale... they "leverage" their delivery of value. They understand that true success, true riches comes from how you use your time, and they understand how fast it truly passes.
Time is the only thing in this world that is finite, and it is the only thing everyone is given equally. How you use yours will determine what kind of life you lead.
